Yes, AFSC has made changes to Straight Hail Insurance that make it more flexible in the coverage it can offer market gardens. With the changes, the maximum coverage that can be purchased has increased to $19,000/ac and the maximum size has been increased from 30 acres to 60 acres. Strawberries have also been added and the need to grow a minimum of three crops has been removed.

AFSC continues to meet with market garden operators to gather input into possible future changes.
