Low yield threshold increased for 2025

The low yield allowance is being increased for the 2025 crop year due to lack of precipitation in several areas in Alberta, particularly the Peace region. It was adjusted by the governments of Canada and Alberta, through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, so producers can salvage poor quality cereal or pulse crops for livestock feed.
