Agriculture Financial Services Corporation's (AFSC) executive team possess the experience and background necessary to meet any challenges.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, Steve is responsible for providing the strategic direction of AFSC, while maintaining positive relations with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The executive leadership reports to him directly.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Darryl is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the teams of Finance, Strategic Corporate Relations, Project Management and Innovation, Research and Policy. Darryl has been with AFSC since January 2011 and holds a B. Comm from the University of Alberta and the CPA, CA designation.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, JJ’s responsibilities include providing strategic direction and operational support AFSC’s digital business solutions supporting AFSC’s Programs and Services delivered to clients. He supports all information, security and technology services used in the delivery of these solutions. He has a management and leadership team of 6 reporting to him.
Reporting to the CEO, Karla oversees all functions as they relate to people management, change management, continuous improvement, organizational effectiveness and strategic human resources. Karla has been with AFSC since 2014 and holds an MBA in Executive Leadership.
Reporting to the CEO, Walker leads the direction and coordination of risk management functions at AFSC. He oversees credit operations, enterprise risk management, compliance, legal counsel and claims processing. Walker holds an ICD.D designation along with a certification in project management and widespread leadership training, customer service strategies and lending and negotiating.
Reporting to the CEO, David is responsible for Branch Operations including client relationships and account management, On-Farm Inspections for Insurance claim assessment, and transaction processing, review and approval for all product lines.
