Crop Insurance

AFSC provides crop insurance for annual crops (including commercial, organic, pedigreed seed and specialty cropping) and perennial crops (including hay and pasture/Moisture Deficiency insurance). We also offer Straight Hail Insurance coverage.

Income Stabilization

Producers can manage their risk through a suite of business risk management programs, including AgriStability and AgriInvest, offered in partnership by the provincial and federal governments.

Lending

AFSC offers Next Generation, Developing Producer, Alberta Producer, Revolving and Agribusiness loans. We offer competitive rates and terms, no annual fees, and prepayment options based on the interest term selected.

LPI

Livestock Price Insurance (LPI) is a risk-management tool which allows producers to purchase price protection on cattle and hogs in the form of an insurance policy. LPI provides producers with protection against an unexpected drop in prices over a defined period of time.
