AFSC’s The Dish returns to AgSmart 2025 with a powerful new focus on mental health in agriculture.
This year’s feature includes a special screening of Deep Rooted, a 33-minute documentary about Canadian agriculture. Through honest, vulnerable interviews with farmers and ranchers across Canada, the film explores the mental health crisis in agricultural communities—and invites open, meaningful conversation. A panel discussion will be moderated by The Do More Agriculture Foundation, which champions mental health in Canadian agriculture. Informal networking and refreshments with AFSC team members to follow.
