AFSC is discontinuing its Rural Business Loan Program effective April 1, 2021. This change allows Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC) to concentrate its efforts on agricultural producers and agribusinesses.

No new loan applications will be accepted under the Rural Business Loan program after April 1. Active loan applications received prior to April 1 will be considered and approved if they meet borrowing requirements and conditions. Clients who have existing Rural Business Loans will be able to access renewal and amendment options by contacting their Relationship Manager Lending.

Anyone seeking a Rural Business Loan will be referred to other financial institutions within Alberta.
