Phase two applications for the 2021 Canada-Alberta Livestock Feed Assistance initiative are being processed and we anticipate that payments will be issued in March.

While most producers applied online, we did received a significant number of paper applications. These applications need to be entered and processed manually before we can start issuing phase two payments.

We want to put money in producer’s hands as quickly as possible, and we are working efficiently to ensure all applications are complete and ready for payment.
