Enhanced Safety Protocols to Keep Our Communities Safe
COVID-19At AFSC, the health and safety of our people, clients and communities is important to us. We’ve taken the necessary precautions to help ensure our people and the communities we serve remain protected during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In response to COVID-19, we have adopted enhanced workplace sanitation practices, physical distancing protocols and controlled access to our branch offices. Our Adjusters have adapted their on-farm inspection protocols and continue to serve clients while minimizing risk and reducing the potential spread of the virus.
Right now AFSC branches continue to have controlled public access, and our staff remains available to clients by phone or email. Clients can also log into AFSC Connect for access to their lending, insurance and AgriStability accounts or to purchase hail coverage.
If you make arrangements to visit our branches, you’ll notice some changes to our mandatory safety protocols. This includes screening questions for employees and clients and sanitizing protocols and personal protective equipment, including mandatory masks for employees. To keep our employees safe, we require clients to wear masks, which we are happy to provide.
As the situation evolves we will continue to update clients and continue to serve Alberta’s agriculture industry. Please continue to monitor AFSC.ca/covid-19 and our social media channels for updates, or contact your Relationship Manager.
Please contact AFSC staff by phone or email with any questions or to arrange inspections. Clients are also encouraged to log into AFSC Connect, call the Client Service Centre at 1.877.899.2372, email info@afsc.ca or contact their branch office for assistance.
