At AFSC, the health and safety of our people, clients and communities is our number one priority. We’ve taken the necessary precautions to help ensure our people and the communities we serve remain protected during the COVID-19 pandemic.

AFSC branches will continue to have controlled public access for the remainder of 2020, with the intent to open for unrestricted public access in January 2021. Although we miss seeing our clients face-to-face, our staff remains available by phone, email or online chat. Please call the Client Service Centre at 1.877.899.2372, email info@afsc.ca or contact your branch office for assistance.

Clients can also log into AFSC Connect for online access to their lending and AgriStability accounts, to submit their Harvested Production Reports for insurance or make wildlife claims.

To arrange an inspection or ask questions about inspections, please contact AFSC staff by phone or email.

As harvest 2020 wraps up, we continue to closely monitor the current situation to make responsible choices for our clients and staff. In response to COVID-19, we have adopted enhanced workplace sanitation practices and physical distancing protocols.

If you make arrangements to visit our branches, you’ll notice some changes to our mandatory safety protocols. This includes screening questions for employees and clients and sanitizing protocols and personal protective equipment—including mandatory masks for employees. To keep our employees safe, we require clients to wear masks, which we are happy to provide.

Our Adjusters have adapted their on-farm inspection protocols and continue to serve clients while minimizing risk and reducing the potential spread of the virus.

Please continue to monitor AFSC.ca/covid-19 and our social media channels for updates, or contact your Relationship Manager for more information.
