At AFSC, the health and safety of our people, clients and communities is our number one priority. We’ve taken the necessary precautions to help ensure our people and the communities we serve remain protected during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are working to support the targeted public health measures in place to protect the health system and stop the spike of COVID-19 in Alberta.

To help limit the spread of COVID-19, AFSC branches will continue to have controlled public access for the remainder of 2020. In addition, AFSC is following all Government of Alberta health orders and adapting our business practices to support current public health measures. In accordance with current public health measures, no more than five clients are allowed in a branch office at one time.

We encourage our clients to continue to make appointments if they need to come into a branch office. If you visit one of our branches, you’ll notice our mandatory safety protocols such as screening questions for employees and clients, sanitizing protocols, and personal protective equipment — including mandatory masks for employees. To keep our employees safe, we require clients to wear masks, which we are happy to provide.

Although we miss seeing our clients face-to-face, our staff remains available by phone, email or online chat. Please call the Client Service Centre at 1.877.899.2372, email info@afsc.ca or contact your branch office  for assistance. Clients can also log into AFSC Connect for online access to their AFSC account.

As we approach the holiday season, please be aware that AFSC offices and the Client Service Centre will close December 23 at 3 p.m. and will reopen with restricted access on January 4, 2021. There are important year-end deadlines to be aware of during the holiday closure.

You can stay up to date on our efforts to keep our communities safe by visiting AFSC.ca/covid-19 and our social media channels for the latest updates, or contact your Relationship Manager for more information.
